Registration Now Open

Saint Helena is now offering a pre-school program for the 2008-2009 school year.  The program is as follows:

3 Year Old Program

 

3 days per week (M-W-F)

 Half Day $220 per month

5 days per week

 Half Day $270 per month

5 days per week

 Full Day $575 per month
 

4 Year Old Program

 

5 days per week

 Half Day $270 per month

5 days per week

 Full Day $575 per month
 

 

 
  • Lunch Bunch option is available until 1:00 p.m. for $7 per day
  • School Hours:  8:05 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (half day), 8:05 a.m. - 3:05 p.m. (full day)
  • Full day program - extended care option available for additional fee
 

Program includes, but not limited to, personal/social development, language, fine and gross motor skills, and group activities. Specialty areas include, Spanish, music, computer time and gym.

Admissions Policy

The policies for admission to Saint Helena School follow Diocesan regulations. Students qualify for admission in the following order:

  1. Brothers or sisters of children of parishioners already in the school and in good standing.
  2. Oldest children of parishioners entering school for the first time at the kindergarten level.
  3. Oldest children of Catholic non-parishioners entering school at the kindergarten level.
  4. Brothers and sisters of other children already in the school and in good standing.
  5. Catholic students transferring from other Catholic schools.
  6. Other Catholics transferring from non-Catholic schools.
  7. Non-Catholic students transferring from non-Catholic school or entering at kindergarten level.

Regardless of any admission priorities, all students must be academically capable as determined by previous school records or screening tests, or demonstrated ability as measured by a standardized readiness test. All admissions are subject to the approval of the Principal and/or Pastor.

Registration

Please bring photocopies of the following:

  1. Birth certificate - For Kindergarten the child must be 5 years of age by August 31.
  2. Baptismal Certificate
  3. Immunization Record
  4. If applicable past to most recent report cards & standardized test results.
  5. Registration fee $125. Non refundable.
